A little bit about us

  • We are college students with busy schedules.
  • We wanted to make time to take care of us.
  • We are doing the work to help you!

Who are we and what are we about? Five college students who are on a mission to find the key to “fitting in” one of the most important components to your body’s wellness in a hectic schedule. It’s widely known that being a full-time student, holding down a job, being active in school, all while having a social life is near to impossible. When you add the self-induced pressure to go to the gym to feel and look your best, it starts to feel like there isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done. Through talking with fellow gym rats, tons of research, and of course our own trial and error; we are on a journey to unlock the key to Fitting in Fitness.

Easy meals for on the go

Chicken in Creamy Sauce with Rice

  • Ingredients
    • 2 boneless chicken breasts, diced
    • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or low-fat cream
    • 1 small onion, finely chopped
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • Olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp paprika
    • Cooked jasmine rice
    • Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro) for garnish

  • Instructions
    1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
    2. Add the diced chicken, cooking until golden brown. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
    3. Stir in Greek yogurt or cream, letting it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
    4. Serve over a bed of steamed jasmine rice, garnished with fresh herbs.
Quick Meal 1

Citrus and Berry Salad

  • Ingredients
    • 1 orange, peeled and sliced
    • 1 grapefruit, peeled and sliced
    • 1/4 cup blueberries
    • 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
    • Fresh mint leaves
    • 1 tbsp pistachios (optional)
    • Drizzle of honey (optional)

  • Instructions
    1. Arrange citrus slices on a plate.
    2. Scatter blueberries, pomegranate seeds, and pistachios over the top.
    3. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and drizzle honey for sweetness (optional).
Quick Meeal 2

Vegetarian Noodle Soup

  • Ingredients
    • 200g rice noodles
    • 4 cups vegetable broth
    • 1 cup tofu or tempeh, cubed
    • 1 cup bean sprouts
    • 1 cup mixed greens (spinach, bok choy, or kale)
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • Fresh cilantro for garnish
    • 1 tbsp chili paste (optional for spice)

  • Instructions
    1. Boil the vegetable broth in a large pot.
    2. Add tofu, greens, and soy sauce, simmering for about 5 minutes.
    3. Cook the rice noodles separately according to package instructions.
    4. Combine the noodles and soup in a bowl, drizzle with sesame oil, and garnish with cilantro and chili paste for a spicy kick.

Hummus with Pita Chips and Veggies

  • Ingredients
    • 1 can chickpeas, drained
    • 1/4 cup tahini
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • Pita bread, cut into triangles and toasted
    • Cherry tomatoes, spinach, and feta cheese for garnish

  • Instructions
    1. Blend chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth.
    2. Serve on a large platter with pita chips.
    3. Garnish with spinach, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese for a festive look.

Fruit and Chia Seed Bowl

  • Ingredients
    • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
    • 1/2 cup blueberries
    • 1 banana, sliced
    • 1/2 cup diced mango
    • 1 tbsp chia seeds
    • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
    • Honey or cinnamon (optional for sweetness)

  • Instructions
    1. Arrange spinach on a plate or bowl.
    2. Layer with blueberries, banana slices, and diced mango.
    3. Sprinkle chia and flaxseeds on top, and drizzle with honey or cinnamon for added flavor.
